description
Inspired by the refraction of light, standing as tall as the Space Needle as one of the tallest residential buildings on the West Coast, 800 Stewart utilizes a dramatic sculpted form in order to significantly reduce the massive wind forces imparted on the building, while also creating an elegant and dramatic addition to Seattle’s skyline. Parametric modeling was utilized to iterate through 70+ form options and create a dynamic patterned facade with a fully programmable field of L.E.D. lights.
